One night I started thinking

that soon my life will end

I was scared terrified of death

I was alone I didn’t know where to turn to.

Darkness closed in around me

I was alone with my fears

I felt so empty and so deserted

I was confused and unsure.

But you came with your light

leading me out of that darkness

letting me see how to live

teaching me love how to love

now the darkness has gone away

because you gave me new life that day.

Now I welcome life

because you are with me

and you are the light

your love will forever guide

and will lead me to peace to eternity.
