Waking up one morning with the rays of the sun
Breaking through the clouds of my sleep
And the chirping of the birds in song
Saying it’s another day, what a great new day,

And suddenly the world all around me
Just seems so beautiful, light and dark in
harmony
Creation masterpiece, what a matchless sight
With its breathtaking laws, a gift for me.
Every beat of my heart wants to cry out loud:
Treat it tenderly!
Go to stand up for nature’s integrity ‘cause
I’m part of it!
Mountains, rivers, seas,
With every beauty, every beast,
Nature is my home
It’s my own home.
If I could only fly in the vast blue sky
Peering through an eagle’s eye
Spying forms of vivid life
Creation masterpiece, what a matchless sight
With its breathtaking laws, this splendid
earth.
Land and ocean I see linked in cycles of
growth,
what a mystery!
Teeming with life in a dance ever new,
what a miracle!
Humankind, you’re the focal point
Nature is your home
It’ our own home.
